ATOMIC BOMB AWARENESS DAY - 2014 GENBAKU-NO-HI Celebration

 

August 8th 2014, UN Vienna International Centre, Rotunda

 

This is an initiative to establish an official Atomic Bomb Memorial Day – GENBAKU NO HI to be celebrated on August 8th, in order to commemorate the victims of Hiroshima (August 6th) and Nagasaki (August 9th 1945) and to call for a prohibition of all nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.
